The Styrofloor system is an alternative to the conventional concrete floor slab construction method.  The inclusion of polystyrene pods as space formers increases the strength of the slab floor, improves the insulation value of the floor system, and saves time and materials during construction.

The Styrofloor System requires less preparation time and reduces the amount of sub-grade material required, thus providing a economical alternative the conventional floor system. 

Wet weather is not a problem as polystyrene is unaffected by moisture and will not deteriorate under the most adverse conditions.

Styrofloor pods are delivered ready to use and can be placed quickly and efficiently. Spacers are provided to ensure equal spaces between pods. The pods can be easily cut to shape using a handsaw or hotwire on site.
