PANEL SPANS
The panels spans indicated in the table have been calculated by our engineers after a extensive panel testing programme.  Allowable spans are based on the following applied loads and deflection criteria as set out in NZS 4203:1992

Walls         0.71 kPa max wind pressure
Ceiling      0.25 kPa live load or 1kN point load
Roof          -0.84 kPa max wind pressure outwards

FIRE PERFORMANCE
Panels have been tested to the Early Fire Hazard Properties Standard AS41530 Part 3 - 1976 giving the following results.

Ignitability Index                  (0-20) 0
Spread of Flame Index      (0-20) 0
Heat Evolved Index             (0-10) 0
Smoke Developed Index   (0-10) 0

PANEL LENGTHS & THICKNESS
Standard Styrolock thicknesses are  50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, 225, 250, 275, 300mm

Standard Styroroof thicknesses are  50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, 225mm

The continuous production method permits an infinite range of panel lengths.  Maximum length is only limited by handling and transportation considerations.  Lengths greater than 16m are not uncommon and in excess of 26m have been transported throughout the North Island.

PANEL CORES
Self extinguishing expanded polystyrene core

SURFACE FINISHES
Standard surface finish is NZ Steel CP finish.  For more severe environments NZ Steel Maxx offers a higher level of protection.
